COMMENTS FROM RICK: Anyone who knew Dick, knew of his abiding love of BPCR. I had the pleasure of working with him during the BPCR Nationals at Raton for a few years. Having dinner with him, there, in metropolitan Raton, was even more entertaining and informative. He carried a lifetime of mechanical and engineering accomplishments with him, and shared that richness with any who would ask. A new chapter of his life story was always only a few sentences away. Thank you, Dick, for sharing those times with me. It was truly a pleasure. - Rick Shay
