A Winter Poem

Post by DML » Sun Jan 16, 2011 11:25 pm

A friend in Idaho sent this. I suspect that it would also apply to MT, WY and the Dakotas. :D

A Winter Poem

It's wintertime in Idaho
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love Idaho
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Idaho
Cuz I'm frozen to the ground!
“It is almost impossible to exaggerate the complete unimportance of almost everything.”
