I have a C. Sharps 45-110 shooting a 535g postal over 95 Grains of Swiss FFG and a CCI Magnum primer. I use a .060 card and parchment card. Powder is compressed .30. Shot groups are all over the place. It has been suggested that I try duplexing my loads. Not a lot of American powders are available where I live. The ones I have now are Varget, IMR 4831, Hogdon H322, Clays, VH 540 , and VH 560. Would any of those work to duplex the load?
The in the pic, I didn't make any adjustments after the 3rd shot. I was using a forearm rest and a rabbit ear rest on the shoulder stock and shooting at 50 meters. I also shoot a 45-70 in a rolling block with the same setup except for the powder (55 grains) and it is almost hole for hole.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
