"Shiloh Montana Rough/Rider in .45-70 "
I've got one that's 6 years old and unfired (bought unfired), only because I'm playin' with an Italian in 45-90 for now...
Fall is my favorite time of year!

Roo,
Thanx for the great pics..........that's a beautiful rifle :D :D . So how long was the wait...or did you order it throught B Goodman? I ordered one from him in May but it won't be ready until Feb or Mar according to the girls at Shilo. What bbl length did you get and how does it shoot?
Thanx again for the pics

I called Shiloh back in early August , and Lucinda gave me a run down of what was currently being built that was unspoken for . I had just 2 requirements { .45-70 caliber and pistol grip } in my rifle . She listed a few rifles with those items including a Sporter # 1 and # 3 , but when she got to the MT. Rough/Rider with heavy half 32" barrel, bone & charcoal pack hardened finish , pewter tip, traditional butt plate and semi-fancy wood , I told her to put my name on it . She did so, and said it was due for completion in late Sept. or early Oct. and would call me when it was close to being done . I've only had it out once since I got it on Oct. 31 due to time constraints { 12-13 hr. work days }, and prior commitments, but so far, I LOVE IT !! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
