We had fourteen shooters for a warm May match.

The mirage was thick and twitchy.

The iron sight match was won by Larry Steen. The scope match was won by Jim Bridges.

 

I write this next section with a heavy heart, after the match we lost our good friend Prent Monson, our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Kas. Our monthly matches are not going to be the same with out our good friend Prent.

There will be a memorial service at twelve noon June 6, 2009 at FitzHenry Carson Valley Funeral Home, 1380 US 395 S. Gardnerville NV, 89410-7032.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Prents name to Veterans Guest House (775-324-6958), 880 Locust Reno, NV 89502, or to the NRA.

 

The next Match will be June 27, 2009.
