After 3 Black powder match cancellations, 27 people finally got to shoot
a match.
Before the match began, we had to put some straw down on the mud at
chickens and pigs. Weather was sunny and pleasant except our Watkins’s
winds didn’t disappoint as it blew out of the southwest at 15 to 20
mph with some gusts. Our match winner hasn’t shot with us for a long
time, and thanked me for squading him with a great spotter, Rick Mortiz.
Because
of the Black Powder and Cowboy Nationals at the Whittington center in
New Mexico, there will not be a BP match in July.
