2008 B.P.T. Rifle Mid-Range State Championship

Many thanks to all the competitors who came to Cadillac to shoot the 2008 B.P. Target Rifle Mid-Range State Championship.

 

The weather was absolutely perfect on both days. As usual though, somebody had messed with the wind machine because Saturday’s fishtailing headwinds and Sunday’s fishtailing tailwinds left everyone wondering where those wide fives, sixes and sevens came from. At any rate we all had a great time and I’m sure that everyone is looking forward to returning to Cadillac in October for Ron Walters’ 5 X 600 match to finish off the shooting season.

 

Remember that on June 28 & 29 we are competing for the Governor’s Trophy at the Ultimate Long Range 5 X 1000 Championship in Grayling.

 

Don’t forget to attend the Long Range Championship on Aug. 16 & 17 also at Grayling.

 

Thanks to Barb Walters, our kind nurse, for keeping us from getting too rowdy. Also thanks to committee members Ron Walters, Ray Saltzman, Steve Decker, Brad Tipolt, Charles Bowen and Brad Ryan for all the help.
