Match Winner: Jim Dietlein  -  45/60

Runner Up: Fred Johnson  -  42/60

Buffalo winner:  Roger Maze

 

With temps in the low 60’s and partly cloudy skies, and a moderate but manageable mirage; conditions appeared ideal for shooting. Yet one look at the scores might indicate otherwise. We had our share of 15 pigs (congratulations!) but no master scores and only 5 AAA scores were posted. Some shooters seem to think that the north winds particularly, tend to play havoc with the bullets out at the turkey line and even more so at the rams. One spotter, after having limited success at keeping his shooter on the rams, remarked that those 3 banks gave him quite a workout. Like they say if it was easy they would call it golf. All in all it was still a great day of shooting.

 

Congratulations to all the winners and especially to match winner Jim Dietlein.
