Around the 24th, 25th, He needs a driver for a '91 Chev pickup, haulin' a 16' trailer,.....He'll be drivin' a school bus load of plunder.....

What's needed here is someone in the NW, with a bit of free time,and the desire to meet, and hang with a real legend, in American shooting sports,Technical writing,and journalism.Don't think that I'm not tempted, but I'm swamped, here on this new place, and can't be gone that long.

I can put together a small team of brigands,and characters, for a stevedoring/ grunt work team, on the NM end.His new digs are about 300mi.from me. Some of us are getting a Kitty up, to cover the driver's expenses,and hopefully, a bit more than that.

I'm asking you to think of a likely candidate,Someone in the NW, and refer him, for this mission.Two fisted rodeo brawler, Eagle Scout, et. al ... it don't matter,good character, and reliable performance, are the baseline.Whoever steps up will see a lot of fine country, and get to hang with a contemporary of Elmer Keith and Jack O' Connor.The return trip, in the pickup (the bus stays in NM) should be an interesting and educational experience.Golly I'm tempted.
