Or even then. When I was a teen and Berdan primers were readily available I reloaded 43 Spanish using an ice pick to remove fired primers and a vise to reseat them.

Sounds good I know but I remember trying it and getting water all over everything!

Of course the slickest way was a gunsmith friend who made custom 2 pin decapping rods.
