A couple of years and counting - decades or centuries I would guess.

I had a similar question but mostly geared to the exposed lube in bullets seated with two or three showing?

My first black powder cartridge rifle was a "factory reconditioned" Argentine Remington rolling block ($14.95). I bouught 200 rounds of original 43 Spanish ammunition for $5/100 and 90% of them went off just fine. That ammunition would have had to been at least 70 years old. I was also shooting my great grand father's Remington New Model 44 C&B with original powder and caps at about the same time (1960 or so).

The only thing I have seen with my reloads is that sometimes the lube gets a little dry when exposed.

I recently pestered a friend of mine to come back to shooting.
He brought some old 45 / 70 BP loads up to the Range to get rid of so he could re load them.
They were ten years old. No problems there.
