That would be in Cartridge loading tips, General discussion, bullets and lubes, and a few others.

point well taken. However, I just think a site devoted to the reloading of the BP cartridge... would have a catagory for pet loads of said cartridge. Especially considering the fact it has a catagory for pet SMOKELESS loads. Am I missing something? I'd rather spend my time reloading or shooting than doing word searches. case in point.. I acquired a new bullet style and wanted to see how others on this site may have loaded it. But, as it were... no where to look and see.. :(

Well just punch in your new bullet into the search function and see what crops up.
Chances are tho what works for one guy probably may not do worth a diddly flip in your rifle.
If it's going in a 45-70 and weighs anywhere between 350-550 grs you can about bet that 70 grs of 2f powder and a .030 wad , seat the bullet to the driving band, and if you have it sized right for your barrel and lubed with a decent lube, it'll shoot half way's decent. Change that to 80 grs for a 2.4, and 95 grs for a 2.6 and 100 grs for 2 7/8.
