Just picked this thing up at the last gun show. It came out of the factory in Jan of '40...so Did I.. that makes us the same age =/- 2 weeks. I think I will try some Black in it. I also think that the .33 Win loads will be close.

I won't make any comments on it's age, but that is good shooting off hand for any rifle, it'll make a good deer rifle.

I had a brain cramp when I wrote that. I did not shoot that off hand, but shot it UNSUPPORTED. My Bad.

I recently acquired a Siamese mauser in the same caliber! Currently waiting on midway for a back ordered lub size die!
