Much as K.O. and I go on the fight, ...and rag on one another...

I'd like to congradulate him on a superb demonstration of what I guess I'd have to call "Builder / Marksman" expertise.

Anyone thinks group sizes discussed come easy, ...guess again.

All kudos for great shootin' (and Buildin'), K.O.

Well, I dunno about all that fightin' stuff; perhaps an occasional spirited debate might be a more accurate description. And that was indeed very good shooting; 5 shots in a little less than 3/4 moa at 200 yards on demand. Nicely done.

Well I 've seen the results but very little on equipment. As there are very few ranges around me that cater for LR or Creedmoor shoots, but can readily accomodate 200yard matches, are these standard long range sharps rifles that are being used.

BTW great shooting all, such small groups give us Aussies something to gauge our own performance on

Thank you gentlemen for your openess

I have a Ped 45/90 32" barrel that I use for Creedmoor, with a Victory PGT 540gn. Probably a bit much gun for this game but my little 40/65 Silhouette Sharps could be a goer.

Getting the Aussies off their behinds to have regular practice matches has always been a chore, but I'll work at getting them interested. Certainly when Dave Guleo shoot at Creedmoor 2006 a lot of interest was generated in long range shooting from watching a master at work.
