Full Size Buffalo Targets

Post by CIMMARONKID » Fri Jul 20, 2007 10:46 pm

Does anyone know where full size buffalo targets can be purchased or the name of a manufacturer of such a target? Need to purchase some for an informal shoot. Thanks in advance for the help.

Are you looking for wood or steel targets? I've heard of folks building wood mock-ups but I'd imagine it would take a lot of steel to build a life size gong.

CK if you have access to an overhead projector you can make your own. Get a silohuette of a buffalo and make a copy on transperacy film, Kinko's can do this if you don't have acess to a copier. Then project that on your target medium. You can make it as large or small as you want by moving the projector back and forth.
