Can I include pictures with my BPCR.net postings?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Images can definitely be included with your posts to the Forums at BPCR.net!

HOWEVER, there is no facility for uploading images directly to the BPCR.net forum. Therefore, you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, i.e. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif.

You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc.

To display the image, insert the appropriate HTML location code into your BPCR.net Forum post.

Here are three FREE web-based image hosting services that appear to be well suited for your use:

http://daily.webshots.com/signup (1000 free uploads)

http://www.freeimagehosting.net/ This service appears well suited for this purpose. Once you upload you image. They email you the HTML code indicating its location. That location code will be used in your BPCR.net post.

http://www.Photobucket.com is a good one too.

(NOTE: There are many other web services that will host your images for free. Google "free image hosting" to see more hosting sites.)

This ain't so hard anymore. Hit reply start your message, then go to the bottom of the page, there are 2 tabs, options and attachments. Pick attachments. Hit add files, select your photo from the file and hit choose. You can get 3 per message. Even I did it!
