need a stock made for a Hepburn

Post by Moonshine Swiller » Fri Jun 15, 2007 7:28 am

I have a Hepburn #1 action fitted to a # 4 Krieger barrel and I'm in need of some help on finding a really good stock maker that can do a good job on this Hepburn rifle. Mike Rix from western Colorado has been trying all his resources and we have not had much luck so far any help would be great thanks

If I were hiring out a stockmaker, I would contact Doug Mann in Illinois. He is a heck of a nice guy, an member of the Guild, and his work is impeccable.

Here is one teaser for you...

Yes it does hurt! I have been looking for a stock maker for a while now!
As you know they are hard to come by and if you do find a good one they are usualy so busy they can't get to your gun in your life time.
I do have a e-mail into Doug so we will wait and see what he says.
That is some really good wood working!

The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

Try Dave Crossno

Not only does he makes stocks, he will make you a New Hepburn rifle. Then you can get one of his 22 lr liners. Go to suppliers and look him up.

You might be thinking of someone else, George does not make Hepburn rifles or 22 liners.

Dave Crossno makes stocks for the Hepburn, and he's the one making the liners to adapt to .22 caliber.

Dave did a set of 90% inletted stocks formy Hepburn, and I finished them from there. I believe he also does stock installs, but contact him to be sure.
