Re: ron heilman soule sight

Terry, yes, I do. Been shooting a Pedersoli 45-70 for almost 10 years. I started with a Lee Shaver sight. It got loose and worn after almost weekly use for about eight years. I'm not very active for the last 18 months due to health problems. Mygila

Terry, go for it. Ron makes an excellent sight and the price is very good too. I've had mine almost two years now. Mygila

Here's another rant for you.

I'm really tired of the black people playing the RACE CARD at every turn. The latest Professor Gates & O-bum-a ( no I didn't misspell). When will they ever give up the idea that the current whites of this nation OWE the current blacks anything. Gates went into a fit of temper because a cop respondin...

Charlie & Gents, Was just watching Fox News and learned Obama was asked about a provision in the health care bill. Obama said he couldn't answer because he wasn't FAMILIAR with that section. Hell, if Obama hasn't read it & congress hasn't read it. Could this be considered treason. I say YES, If a se...

Duke76, I shoot a 32" Ped74 sporter. Just out of curiosity I cast some PGT's from lino. They came out at 517/518 grains. I have shot 30 & 35 rounds on two different days. Got 1 moa # 200 meters and 1 moa @ 300 meters. Dang rifle seems to really like the hard lino & loads as follows. Brass, S/line an...

HT.
Tried the stuff couple years ago. It may work fine in small calibers, pistols & rifles, but in my 45-70 it was a DISASTER.
I had a head wind and the damn stuff blew back all over my face , gun, clothes, in my eyes. Took eight hours to clean up. Just my experience. Never again.

Gunslinger, My pedersoli has about 12,000 rounds through the bore. The lever spring broke about 10K. Firing pin let two or three times . The Ped barrels are first class. You can't do better. I bought my 74 July 99. Barvid is dead on so follow what he said. Don't get antsy to go for a 110 or 120. The...

Ranch,
When I sold electro-chemical metalizing equipment I used coffee filters to clean filter out crud out of the chemicals. The filters I have at home now (for coffee making) are thin and mic 0.003". They seem to be fairly strong when wet. Might work as PP.JM2C's

Charlie, I saw that video several weeks ago. Nice bit of engineering on the stretcher. For the present I'll go with F L resizing and see how things work out. Do you plan on stretching brass on contract? TIA. Mygila
