Richard at Flintlocks, Etc. is one of the best to work with. I had a similar problem with a Ped. roller many years ago and he did the same with the stock, is was almost a perfect match! Re: Decapping tools

FWIW, If you are getting up in years and your hands tend to ache a wee bit under pressure then the Distant Thunder model is what you want and worth every penny you'll spend. The plier types tend to be hand-made from pliers with a press decapper soldered or welded to one arm and can and do tend to br...

The guys were all at a deer camp. No one wanted to room with Bob, because he snored so badly. They decided it wasn't fair to make one of them stay with him the whole time, so they voted to take turns. The first guy slept with Bob and comes to breakfast the next morning with his hair a mess and his e...

A stranger entered a little country store and noticed a sign warning, "Danger! Beware of dog!" posted on the glass door. Inside, he noticed a harmless old hound dog asleep on the floor beside the cash register. "Is that the dog folks are supposed to beware of?" he asked the owner. "Yep, that's him,"...

45-70 Smokeless question

Got a bunch of Smokeless loads on a trade awhile back and figured I'd burn them up in my Pedersoli or H&R 1871. The guy said they were loaded with 45 grains IMR 3031 and a flat-nosed Lazer Cast bullet in a mix of WW and Starline brass with Winchester primers. He didn't remember much else as the load...
