Re: Homemade lube

I was asking you Arnie. I've not been married three or four times, but it's really expensive anymore for me to be "not married" so I guess I'll honor the kitchen rule.
I lose too many things when I change my tax status.

Re: lowering trigger pull weight

45/70 please tell me more about the availability of the "double set single lever target triggers" that you spoke about.
I have a trapdoor that has been made into a copy of the officers model and I need such a trigger to help complete the build.
Thanks, Jack

Re: Casting my way

I didn't read all the posts so I'm not certain that my suggestion hasn't been mentioned, but here goes anyhow and if it has been I will apologize in advance. I absolutely hate fluxing. Its messy and most of the products I used really didn't seem to do much. I was totally disappointed with Brownell M...

Re: wtb Browning BPCR

I have a 45-70 that I'd like to sell. It has all the original hardware with it. I had Lee shavers do the trigger and its about 1 1/2 pounds. Everything is in really good shape and it shoots good. I'm thinking around 1300. for it and can email you pictures if you're interested.

Thanks,
Jack Lee

Re: WTB Sharps muzzleloader

Yup Yup! I've seen one floating around the gun show curcuit here in northern Michigan for at least the last year. I've had it in my hands twice, fondling and drooling over it. I know this one isn't a IAB. I own a IAB Sharps and the muzzleloader is a lot nicer. I think it is a Pedersoli. I believe th...

Re: Browning 1885 trigger fix

I own two of the Browning BPCR 45-70 rifles. One with the Lee Shaver trigger modification and one with the Dale McGee modification. Both seem to do their job well but I have noticed a slight difference that seems to bug me. The McGee mod. has a slight resistance, like a rubbing of the hammer when ma...
