I can use a .357 shell and a .358 bullet in a 38 caliber rifle? How accurate it your rifle at 100 and 200 yards?

The barrel is stamped 38 cal CF. It does not seem to be a 38-55 or a 38-40 or 38WCF. Any ideas what the cartridge might be?
