I reckon Charlies suggestion is good as I've done it myself. I'd be a mite nervous of peening the dovetail of a barrel, but then I'm no gunsmith :shock:

Sportfish Saw your post on the Shiloh site also and well, maybe some of the replies didn't solve the problem for you? Some of the guys on there there have forgotten more than many of us will ever know about BPCR! You are not misunderstanding anything, it just takes time and experience to learn this ...

Yup, that were a Sharps in White Buffalo. Great movie if you overlooked the historical inaccuracies and bad special effects. Most obvious is the white "Spike" running on rails in some of the shots :lol: The film has atmosphere though and I liked the cameo by Slim Pickens as the stagecoach driver. :D...

Seems to make sense don't it? No neck tension, no effect on the bullet.

I get that neck tension thing though, after a day working with teenagers, I need a drink!!!! Don't improve the shooting but my neck feels better!!! :D
